As per the World Economic Outlook Report, global tourism expanded by 2.9% in 2024, signaling a resurgence in international travel. Here’s a look at the top 10 favourites for millions of travellers, which you can also consider visiting in 2025.

Attracting 89.4 million tourists, France remains the world’s most visited country in 2024. Visitors from across the globe continue to flock to iconic attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the historic Notre Dame Cathedral, the grandeur of Versailles, and the renowned Bordeaux wines.

Spain, renowned for its vibrant culture and rich history, hosted an impressive 83.7 million tourists. Iconic attractions like the Alhambra in Granada, the Royal Palace in Madrid, and the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona are must-visit highlights.

With 79.3 million arrivals, the US continues to be a popular destination. The Statue of Liberty in New York City, Hollywood in Los Angeles, and Disney World in Orlando are popular tourist destinations.
