How Big is Olympic National Park
First off, the Olympic National Park is HUGE! It’s about 3,733 square kilometers. To give you an idea,  Olympic National Park is about 12 times larger than Dhaka. đ˛đī¸ vs. đī¸! đ

Where to Go?
đī¸đ If you divide the national park into two parts, for two days you can explore the beaches đī¸ and rainforests đŗ, Falls, and the other day is perfect for lakes đŖââī¸ and mountains â°ī¸. Here’s the perfect plan for you! đ
To cover the best spots in three days, start from the Lake Quinault area, which can be your base camp. đ˛đī¸ This is Rain Forest Resort Village in the picture.

Tree of Life & Kalaloch Beach
đFor easy access park at the Kalaloch Campground Parking and take a 5-minute walk including a stair to catch this beauty.
đŗThe Tree of Life is like a superhero in Olympic National Park! đ˛ It stands tall and strong on a little island rock in the sea, showing off its beauty and strength against all odds. It’s like nature’s way of saying, “I can do anything!” đ
đââī¸The beach is a prime spot for spotting bald eagles,đĻ đ especially during the salmon runs in late summer and fall. It’s famous for its large, ancient driftwood logs that line the shore, washed ashore by the Pacific Ocean.
đ After that take a short stop at Ruby Beach đī¸ for its stunning views. Ruby Beach got its name from the sparkling gems hidden in the sand â they’re actually garnets and other cool minerals!
đī¸ This beach is super famous in Washington state because of its awesome sea stacks and wild coastline that make for perfect photos.
Make sure to wear tough shoes when you explore Ruby Beach. It can get rocky and slippery, especially near the water. đ
Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center

đŋâ¨The trail is short, about 0.8 miles round-trip, so it’s great for anyone to walk. đī¸đŋAlong the way, you’ll find ancient trees covered in moss that come in different shades and textures, making it all look really magical. đ§ââī¸đ˛đŗ The air is cool and fresh, filled with the earthy scent of moss and damp soil. đ
đŗThe Hoh Rain Forest receives an annual rainfall of about 140 inches (over 12 feet), making it one of the wettest places in the continental United States. đ§ī¸đ˛
Rialto Beach

If you have 3 days to explore, don’t miss the chance to hike the scenic Marymere Falls trail for breathtaking views of a waterfall cascading into the lake.! đ˛đĻ

Olympic National Park Visitor Center (Port Angeles)
Make a quick stop at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles! đī¸ It’s a great way to catch a glimpse of one of the most beautiful port cities in the Pacific Northwest. đ
Hours: Summer: 8 AM – 6 PM, Winter: 9 AM – 4 PM. It’s a convenient spot to gather information and enjoy the surroundings before continuing your adventure! đēī¸đ
Note: The nearest pit stop from Hurricane Ridge is here, as the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center unfortunately burned down in May 2023. However, temporary facilities are now in place. đ˛
Hurricane Ridge
đŖī¸đThe ridge is located at an elevation of approximately 5,242 feet (1,598 meters) in Olympic National Park.đī¸ It’s named for its fierce winds, which can reach hurricane-force during winter storms. đ¨
For an unforgettable experience, hike one of the trails such as Hurricane Hill or Ridge Trail. đĨž
You’ll be treated to stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys as well as Black-Tailed Deer. đĻđī¸ Graceful and common throughout Olympic National Park, these deer can often be spotted grazing in the meadows or among the trees in Hurricane Hills.
Before you go, check the weather forecast, especially for visibility due to varying cloud cover. âī¸ đī¸đ ŋī¸The view from the parking lot itself is unbelievable. I can’t stress enough how incredibly beautiful it is! đ˛
