It’s safe to say that Singapore Changi Airport has an A-list resume with the number of awards it has racked up – world’s fifth most luxurious airport, most Instagrammed, best for shopping, and home to a terminal so stunning it’s officially one of the world’s most beautiful. And just to flex a little more, it’s now officially the fourth busiest international airport in the world according to Travel And Tour World’s report, handling a jaw-dropping 67.7 million passengers last year.
Leading the aviation pack is Dubai International Airport (DXB), retaining its title as the world’s busiest airport for yet another year with a record of 92.3 million passengers being handled in 2024. Meanwhile, Seoul Incheon and Istanbul airports have seen significant improvements compared to pre-pandemic 2019. London Heathrow (LHR) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) also reported record-breaking passenger volumes.
